SHANNA CARKHUM CEO
Shanna Carkhum is the Chief Executive Officer of Simple Housing Enterprise. With over 10 years of project management experience, she brings a proven ability to execute complex community development initiatives from concept to completion. Before launching Simple Housing Enterprise, she served as a Community Development Professional, championing community engagement, economic equity, and local ownership. Her background shaped her ability to bridge policy with people—working alongside residents, grassroots leaders, nonprofits, industries, and municipalities to spark real change.
Her work has led to transformative outcomes. She played a key role in the $30 million Beacon Station development as a Construction Specialist and Development Manager, and later worked through partnership to secure over $30 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funding to develop affordable housing units.
Shanna holds a Master of Professional Studies in Community and Economic Development from Pennsylvania State University. Her career is rooted in the belief that strong communities begin with access, equity, and shared ownership—and she remains committed to making that vision a reality.
SANDRA LISENBEE CFO
Sandra Lisenbee is the Chief Financial Officer of Simple Housing Enterprise, bringing over 30 years of experience in promoting holistic well-being. With a deep commitment to helping individuals achieve balance in their mental, physical, and spiritual health, Sandra understands that true wellness begins at home.
Sandra's entreprenuraial journey, marked by navigating the complexities of business finance and achieving
sustainable growth, has equipped her with valuable expertise. Sandra's experience now serves as the foundation for her role at Simple Housing Enterprise, where she provides crucial financial guidance and strategic insights. Her dedication to building a robust financial framework that ensures Simple Housing Enterprise continued growth and long-term success.
Sandra also holds a Bacholors degree in Criminal justice from Brenau University and a Personal Training Certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Avemaria is the Chief Administrative Officer of Simple Housing Enterprise, where she brings together over 20 years of experience in community development and property management with a passion for purposeful work. With a strong background in entrepreneurship, operations, and creative direction, she thrives at the intersection of organization and impact.
A dynamic leader and successful entrepreneur, Avemaria has spent 15 years as the owner of a dance studio and event space, building systems that not only support business growth but also empower teams and communities. Her expertise in content direction and brand evolution fuels her ability to connect with diverse audiences and bring strategic visions to life.
Whether managing properties, leading administrative operations, or curating experiences that resonate, she is known for her visionary mindset, commitment to excellence, and genuine heart for people. She holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship Studies withAugusta Technical College and a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Education with Troy University, and she remains deeply committed to self-awareness, personal growth, and creating spaces where others can thrive.

De'von Drumgoole serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Simple Housing Enterprise, bringing more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, community advocate, and activist. Her journey began with a passion for home improvement, which she transformed into a mission-driven business committed to revitalizing neighborhoods and uplifting communities.
De'von blends her deep roots in community leadership with a practical, hands-on approach to development. Whether managing renovation projects or engaging local residents, she focuses on creating spaces that foster pride, connection, and long-term stability. Her work is guided by a belief that housing is more than shelter—it’s the foundation for thriving communities.
